Oklahoma Paramedic speaks out (see video)
Okla. paramedic Maurice White and his lawyer speak on CBS's The Early Show on Tuesday morning. White, who was involved in a controversial scuffle with a state trooper at the end of May, is calling for the removal of the officer's badge.

I still feel they are both at fault. A discussion with the driver could have been a quick minute or two.

Agreed, however, the trooper could have handled that whole situation so much better than he did. It looked to me like "p*ssing" contest than professional courtesy. Neither man took the high road and the patient's life wasn't a major concern of either of them. The paramedic should have called his supervisor and another police agency as well as the hospital if he had any real concern for his patient ... and thank God the patient wasn't in a life or death situation or suddenly coded for some reason while the trooper was playing "Mr. Billy Bad-Ass" ...
Things could have turned out so differently.
