National Emergency Training Center – Emmitsburg, Md.
The National Professional Development Symposium (NPDS) will be held May 30 – Jun 1, 2013 at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, Md.
The National Fire Academy is also sponsoring several certificated courses prior to the symposium on May 27-28 that are open to all symposium attendees. Attendees must be present for both days of the selected course and the entire symposium to receive a NFA certificate. See the agenda for available courses.
You must register for both your chosen course and the NPDS.
Symposium registration is free. Travel and meals ($182.30 meal ticket covers May 27 through breakfast June 2) are borne by the attendees; however, USFA will provide lodging at no charge and scheduled bus transportation to and from a regional airport. Reduced meal ticket prices are available for attendees not attending the full week. Do not book your travel plans until confirmation of your acceptance is received from our Admissions Office.
The deadline for receiving applications is May 1, 2013. Applications must be mailed to:
