I have lived in 2 southern border states for 50+ years and followed this issue for decades. There are STILL parts of our southern border where people can just walk right in, plus illegal migrants leave tons of trash, destroy pristine environments, cause wildfires due to illegal campfires and more.
Due to topography not every part of the border can have a physical structure, but other technologies can enhance security in those areas.
