Congratulations Chaplain Garrett. Welcome to the USFRA Support Staff.
Thank you for your words of thanks and support. I was deployed in Afghanistan for almost two years, returned home in January and maybe deployed again. I felt more appreciative as a service member there than I do here. Americans are spoiled, but that will cease once they bring the fight to our door. It's no longer a matter of "if" it's a matter of "when".

Well said Chaplain Garrett. These are men and women who at one time had a regular job, coming home every night, tucking in their children and kissing their spouse goodnight. All of that has change, multiple deployments for months and months even years. The one who has left, in some cases both parents, return home changed, physically, mentally, and yes some spiritually. We are blessed to have the opportunity in serving, sharing and just listening to them before and after. It is a honor to stand side by side with you as we continue "Just being there" for our true heroes. Maybe someday America will come out of the malls and totally support these tall standing, chest out, proud to be an American soldier. We must never give up,continue to educate and encourage our people one by one why we are the land of the free and the home of the brave. God Bless America
