Thanks J. The heat has been kicking our arse lately and I've had civilians ask about tips. I'll be adding more information as I delve deeper into my research.

Hi James, I've never tried Mona Vie and we have quite a few Reps in this area. I might have to give it a go. Thanks for the post.

My wife Pat & I take our daily doses of Mona Vie and can tell the differance in our overall health. Kinda like a true lifesaver, she says.

Great timing on this group! Got a few blog posts I'm putting together in next week or 2 re health stuff (some personal things we've learned from Bill's 9-year health ordeal, some general tips, etc) so can post them here if you'd like?! And yes - staph (and C diff for that matter) are nasty, nasty buggers. Hope you're doing better now Anna.

Thanks Doc! Again your sage words ring true! That's what I like to see in this group!

Knowledge is power and you have the highest stakes in this.

I agree that everyone needs to research and do everything they can in their power to prevent diseases (ickys as we say in the hospital corps)

What I have seen in a disturbing trend is the lack of preventive measures and the demand for modern medicine to fix the problem.

I've had patients with lungs that sound like a set of bagpipes, demand relief, then go on a smoke break while trying to get out of a demanding mission.

So with the fussing over with
1. Research the diagnosis

2. If you have no diagnosis research the possible ones from your set of symptoms and the signs presented to your medical professional.

3. Engage your Doctor with the questions. If he does not wish to engage try again or get another doc. If they make honest mistakes it's not always pleasant but understand everyone does. I have sparked avenues of research with questions and dogged persistence.

4. Protecting yourself from staff infections is difficult at best in a medical facility but look up ways to accomplish it. I know a woman who had an infection get into her hip and took her out of action for a year.
