6-Dec-2016 - The internet "mannequin challenge" has landed two Alabama men in jail after police stumbled upon their video and counted 19 guns in a staged shootout.
They later found drugs and even more guns behind the scenes.
WHNT-TV in Huntsville, Alabama, reported Tuesday that 49-year-old Kenneth White and 23-year-old Terry Brown were charged with drug and weapons violations stemming from an investigation into the video after Madison County Sheriff’s Office was tipped off to it last month.
An official investigation determined residents of the house in the video sold marijuana, WHNT said.
Mr. White, a convicted felon, was charged with first-degree possession of marijuana and for illegally possessing a firearm. Mr. Brown was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, loitering and promoting prison contraband.
Authorities said they believe additional arrests may be made shortly.
