My name is Brian Woronuik and I have been with the Surrey Fire Service for the past 19 years. I am currently an Acting Captain, loving the job and all the challenges that come with the position. Prior to getting hired as a career firefighter, I spent 2 1/2 years as a volunteer at Surrey Fire Hall #3 and before that spent 4 years as an Army Medic in the Canadian Armed Forces.
My wife is a 19 year Police Officer, my 21 year old son just finished his first year in our fire department and my 19 year old son is starting to accumulate courses to also become a career firefighter! A Very Proud Dad!
