About Me
I was born in Iowa and was raised in Northern California. I am 62 years old, I served 1-1/2 years in combat, in Vietnam (during which time I served part time on a Combat Medivac Response Team), several years in PTSD Groups, one on one in grief and trauma counceling. I am a member of the VVA. I have a BS in Electronic Engineering, two minor degrees (Parabolic Design and Computer Science) and many specialized training certifications. I worked 10 years for NASA at Edwards Air Force Base, California and have owned my business since 1969. As part of my IGR First Response duties, I have been part of a CERT Group reponding to the Napannee Tornado, Grant County Blizzard of 2007, and Columbus, Indiana flooding. I was also part of Vietnam Veterans' CERT that responded to Mississippi and Louisiana, in 2005, after Hurricane Katrina, and I help man the WebEOC for the Grant County EMA.

Please take a moment to read our SOGs (Standard Operating Guidelines for the site) and join the USFRA Community Central group. It's where all new features, updates about members and any issues you might have with the website can be posted, answered or commented in a timely fashion.

We have the USFRA Link directory for non profits as well as the Events calendar, where you can contribute your community events, conferences, expos, fundraisers and training schedules.

You are also able to pimp out your profile page to make it uniquely yours by adding graphics or changing themes (see my page for inspiration) if you need any help please let me know!
