As a civilian, I have worked with various law enforcement agencies for over 25 years. I have CERT training through Sac Metro Fire Department, in Sacramento County.
I am currently appointed to an advisory board known as the Twin River Police Services and Safety Advisory Committee. I look forward to being of service to the Twin Rivers Police Department. They are a school district police force that replaced the Grant PD approximately four years ago
I, also, serve on the Rio Linda/Elverta Community Watch Steering Committee. We meet with the Sacramento County Sheriff, the CHP and Twin Rivers Police Department, in conjunction with the community, every other month. Our purpose is to (hopefully) address community needs on current (or pending) crimes.
I am an appointed member of the Dry Creek Parkway Advisory Committee. The committee oversees plans, changes and the progression of Dry Creek Parkway, including Gibson Ranch.
