I have been involved in the Emergency Response field for over thirty years with a progressively increasing scope of responsibility. I am retired (2010) as a Lead Paramedic with Sarasota County (FLA) Fire Department and currently serve as an intermittent federal employee with the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS). I have experience as a Field Training Officer (FTO) for SCFD, Training Officer for FL-3 DMAT, as well as past experience as an instructor for both AHA and the ARC for their BCLS, First Aid, and AED programs.
