About Me

I was born in Iowa and was raised in Northern California. I am 60 years old, I served 1-1/2 years in combat, in Vietnam (during which time I served part time on a Combat Medivac Response Team), several years in PTSD Groups, one on one in grief and trauma counceling, I am a member of the Indiana Guard Reserve (OPS Sargeant) and own my own business. I have a BS in Electronic Engineering, two minor degrees (Parabolic Design and Computer Science) and many specialized training certifications. I worked 10 years for NASA at Edwards Air Force Base, California and have owned my business since 1969. As part of my IGR First Response duties, I have been part of a CERT Group reponding to the Napannee Tornado, Grant County Blizzard of 2007, and Columbus, Indiana flooding. I was also part of Vietnam Veterans' CERT that responded to Mississippi and Louisiana, in 2005, after Hurricane Katrina, and I help man the WebEOC for the Grant County EMA.
