Today, I stopped caring about my fellow man.

Posted on January 2, 2016 at 12:29pm 2 Comments

Today, I stopped caring about my fellow man. I stopped caring about my community, my neighbors, and those I serve. I stopped caring today because a once noble profession has become despised, hated, distrusted, and mostly unwanted.

About Me

We are the Office and Web Support Staff of the United States First Responders Association. Our duties:

Provide a valuable link between members and the services they use. We are responsible for responding to members inquiries and making sure that any problems they are experiencing are resolved.

We are here to answer questions or requests. However, some questions may be somewhat more difficult, and may require additional research or help from an expert.

Sometimes members inquiries are complaints, which generally must be handled in accordance with strict company policies (SOGs). In some cases, representatives may try to fix problems or suggest solutions. We may have the authority to reverse erroneous profile deletions or suspensions. Other representatives will act as gatekeepers who make sure that complaints are valid before resorting to disciplinary actions.

Hi Alli,

I am a PhD student in University of Michigan and I am working on a new communication tool that does not reply on any communication infrastructures. We think it might be very useful in disaster and emergency situations and would like to talk with people in this area who have more knowledge in the communication in these situations.

May I have an interview with you sometime in the next week, or any other members of the association? Thanks a lot!
