Most of the fire safety were volunteer. I was thinking about getting into that myself. Then moved so that never happened. I still enjoy hearing what's going on out… Continue

It seems in a world where internet is the key communications to most news and discussions, that many feel safe, hidden and capable of saying whatever they want to. Its not right that such people get away though with saying abusive and threatening things. Recently in Nova Scotia, a local new magazine The Coast has been dealing with such situation. Here is the article in full from the Halifax Herald Newspaper.
A heifer will be auctioned today at 4 p.m. at the Farmers and Ranchers Livestock Commission Co., Kansas Highway 140, to help raise money for the Steaks for Troops program.

In a weak and shameful attempt to appear as a hero, a volunteer firefighter lit a fire in a stairwell that lead to apartments above a coin operated laundry room. In Lawrence, NY., Caleb Lacey charged and convicted with arson murder and sentence to 25 years to life. He intentionally lit the fire in the only entrance and escape route as the previous fire escape had been removed from the building some time ago. A mother and her 3 children were…Continue
