Well my friend Dawn in St Thomas Ont just posted this picture of the College behind her house which is now on fire. It's been burning now over an hr, and half the building has fallen within it's self. She said her windows were to hot to touch, this means her house is now in dangered. Monday, we gathered at Holy Family Church for our 75th Chicago Fire Department Memorial Day Parade and Mass. The weather broke perfectly and Sun dried the streets for the parade.
This is a special time. A good number of retired firefighters and paramedics come to talk to their friends and catch up on each others lives. ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A suspicious early morning fire consumed the Bithlo home of an elderly veteran Monday.
The blaze was difficult to put out because there were no fire hydrants in the area.
Orange County firefighters were dispatched around 2:45am after receiving several calls from residents in the area.

PAISLEY, Fla. -- winds are fueling it.
Several homes in the Deerhaven subdivision were evacuated as a precaution. The All-Star Sports Camp was also evacuated. An estimated 90 families were out of their homes.

The kind of relationships I'm concerned with here are described by Webster as “romantic or passionate attachments.” I've had many. Most of them have failed. By failed I mean they ended – usually badly. So what is a successful relationship? I would define it as ‘until death do us part' as long as you don't murder the person with whom you are having a relationship. That does happen.

COCOA, Fla. -- An accused arsonist was arrested Thursday after she set a small fire, because she was bored, investigators said. Police were dumbfounded by that reasoning.
Residents at a Cocoa apartment complex, allegedly caught Margaret Jean Kaderabek trying to set a fire just feet from a huge, dry wooded area. They believe she set as many as four different fires before police tracked her down.

BREVARD and VOLUSIA COUNTIES, Fla. -- Damage estimates for wildfires that burned through Palm Bay approached $10 million, Tuesday. Meanwhile, firefighters in Brevard County were racing to contain a blaze that shut down I-95.
The Brevard County fire rekindled in the Cocoa area. The Florida Highway Patrol closed Interstate 95 between State Road 528 and State Road 520. The patrol had already closed the interstate south of that area between U.S. 192 and State Road 60.

The fires broke out just before 1:00pm Monday and by 3:30pm, at least nine were burning in the area. One fire, in Palm Bay along San Filippo, threatened homes and aerial video showed flames jumping from tree to tree. Fire trucks and bulldozers were scrambling to douse flames and cut fire lines.

We had a case in the Houston area the other day that even seasoned law enforcement officers are having a hard time believing. The other day two juveniles were arrested after they dug up a body at a local cemetery. They then allegedly decapitated the corpse, and used the skull as a bong to smoke marijuana. The original investigating officer said the whole story was so absurd that he didn't even belive it until he located and interviewed the second suspect.
