Our hearts go out to all those impacted by Super Typhoon Haiyan (a.k.a. Yolanda to Filipinos). Last week the storm slammed across central Philippines causing incredible devastation to the island nation of 96 million people.
Officials estimate over 9.5 million Filipinos have been impacted by the storm and about 2 million are homeless.

This is just a great human interest story because it has a "happy" ending. My first thoughts were how could someone leave a baby in the woods to perish but then I focused on the positive aspect that God used a family pet to intervene in this child's life which allowed for a rescue. Well I hope all have made it through Halloween Night and there were accidents or injuries to anyone, here in New York at the West end of the state its windy and I do mean windy gust as high as 60 mph, trees down and power lines down all over the place also there are reports of power outages, so that means some intersections with out working traffic lights and we all know what that means or I hope we know.
