Merging County And City Fire Services May Save Millions

A top secret report uncovered by Eyewitness News shows taxpayers could save millions of dollars if Orange County took over Orlando's fire service.

The study tested four different ways that the department could cut non-union jobs and equipment. One model would combine the county and city fire departments into one single entity. The report remained a secret because the Orlando Firefighters Union went to court to fight to keep it under wraps.

We must remember.

Our Founding Fathers recognized liberty as a right of all mankind, granted by God.

Rights bestowed on us, and every human being, because we are the express image of our Creator.

Tyrants have tried to abolish these rights.

Despots have tried to deny them.

Courageous American soldiers have taken up arms, turned their back on fear and fear and danger,

And protected the rights of individuals the world over.

On Memorial Day, we must reflect upon… Continue
