Well its me here again and I am not very happy as I have been reading again and all my writing has gone into the trash as I have read to many articles of Fire Vehicles rolling over or getting into a accident were it was there fault. Why, because we just don't understand the rules of the road is how I take it, yes we have to get there in a hurry be not at the risk of killing or injuring yourself or your crew or others. Let's take that time to go through those intersections WITH caution, look all ways not just ahead, yea I know what many of you are say what the hell do I know, I know I never got into a accident when we went off the installation, we always came to the intersection be it a traffic light or stop sign or what ever it maybe we always slowed down and then continued on, and we got there safe.
Come on rolling over a half a million vehicle and then the town, city or what ever say we are going to lay off firefighters, maybe that was already in the works but by your actions in rolling over a vehicle or killing someone or family that sure does not help. Yea the other driver should be looking to but I always took the extra time and looked. They are making vehicles tighter and the sound we can no longer hear the vehicle coming.
This goes to the Police, Sheriff, and other law enforcement also, they are at more risk as they are always chasing someone or going to a shooting or worst office down. Time, time is important and we need to take just that few seconds to look. Someone could be walking there kids across the street and we come flying down the street or come around the corner and bang right in to someone or something. Trees do not move and there have been first responder vehicles into the or wrapped around them.
So lets take are time PLEASE .
Let's take a moment of silence for the officer who was injured and has not passed away ....................
