In keeping with the overall theme of sharing education and tactical training, here is a list of our networking partners.

I am a Guardian Angel, it's not just what I do, it's who I am... I have served the Treasure Coast and the Fort Pierce area since 2004... I originally joined the Guardian Angels in Boston when I was a young teen (17) and living on my own. At the same time I served as a Lifeguard working for a state agency ( this is where my G.A. code name comes from ) The neighborhood kids would see me around off duty and they would call me Lifeguard, soon everybody did and it stuck... I was a member of the Boston chapter from 1982 until probably 1990-91... One day while working at Walmart here in Fort Pierce a fellow employee came up to me and said "Hey, the Guardian Angels are outside!" At first I thought he was joking, but I went out to see for myself and sure enough there was a group of G.A.'s out there. I approached them and introduced myself and just like that, I was back with my G.A. family... Little did I know that I was going to be reunited with members of my original G.A. family from Boston soon after... Since that day, I have joined forces with many different people from the St. Lucie county area to do street patrols in many of the Treasure Coast communities, events, and speaking engagements with other G.A.'s and sometimes on my own... I don't get a paycheck for what I do, my payment comes in the form of appreciation from members of the community when they see me and say "Thanks for being here, and for all that you do !!" I love what I do and I like helping people, I have been in the business of public safety since my teen years, I guess you could say it's in my blood... I am proud to serve as the Second in Command of the Treasure Coast / Fort Pierce Guardian Angels... I enjoy the interaction with the community as well as with Law Enforcement and EMS / Fire services... Here in Fort Pierce the Guardian Angels have a great rapport with local Law Enforcement agencies and we have done many special events together... We have backed up Law Enforcement on many calls locally as they in turn have backed us up when we needed them... I believe that Law Enforcement agencies have a better understanding that we are there to serve as extra eyes and ears for  them and back them up when they need us. There have been many situations where private citizens felt better talking to the Guardian Angels than to Law Enforcement. We have passed on many helpful tips from the community to Law Enforcement officials to date... I have a deep appreciation for any man or woman that takes a job in any field of Public Safety... One thing that we ALL have in common is this: It takes a very special kind of person to do what we do in our respective fields of public safety. We know the risks every time we gear up and get ready to hit the streets and still, we get up, say goodbye to our loved ones and walk out the door, not knowing what will happen while we are on duty... I salute you LEO's, Firefighters, EMT's, Paramedics... Thank you for your service, God Bless you and know that I will continue to do my civic duty to help keep our communities a safe place to be !! To my Guardian Angel Brothers and Sister across the Globe... Be Safe... Stay Brick... And Always... DARE TO  CARE... Remember... All of us together will Stand Strong and fight the Good Fight !!

There's something to be said about the character of a person who serves his community for free. You are a true hero Mark. Thank you for your service.
