In keeping with the overall theme of sharing education and tactical training, here is a list of our networking partners.

Hello All;

Well I am finally on the mend and feeling much better. The reason being is I had hand-surgery and I had some issues coming out of the anesthetic. During the week I was very ill and was take to the ER by my wife as I could not keep anything down and all I was drinking was water and a high fever that would not come down below 102. All the test they did came back negative. So they all leaned toward a Viral Infection. Enough about me, how are you all doing its been hot (90's) and humid here in WNY for almost a month, we better not complain as when winter is here, nice stop at that intersection, what have I been telling you about looking both ways and slow through the intersections, come on lets stop and think about what we are doing. When its cold as hell we complain its to cold. I spent the month of May in Az. at the brother-in-laws home love the heat with no humidly. Well I have been reading a lot lately about Police and firefighters and yea all lives matter, We all need to get along with each other and lets sit down and talk this out. The government seems to think that if they take your guns away crime will stop, in my eyes the government needs to open their eyes and spend a day or more like us and how we live, no body guards and maybe they will change their minds, enough about that. Some of the article s I have been reading are say the public are not watching how they are driving through streets and intersections and on the highway. One other thing around here is talk of giving the firefighters guns and there is word on the street is to shoot firemen as they are just as bad as the Police.

I have read that a lot of fire departments are getting new equipment and training when they get it cause I know when we got new equipment we would use it once and then put in in a compartment and never use it again, we got the new equipment because HQ. Air Force said we needed it. Training in NY is getting longer and more hands on then in the classroom which I think is good. But then you have to take a test and I suck at test, we can tell if you are getting the material by how you handle the hands on part, so if you go through 13 weeks of training and fail the test you have one more chance to take the test then you are out which I think sucks but who am I , yes you don't need the ones who think they are above all and the ones that just squeak through , the counties and cities, towns are crying for firefighters but hey they have to pass the test and some firefighters what nothing to do with going inside so there is a course that they can take to be a Scenic Support firefighter which means they can do everything outside, but can not going inside which is a great help getting ladders ready , changing air bottles and other things outside, but the companies all say no you must be a firefighter one. My take is don't complain about not having enough firefighters, I had one that all he wanted to do was work the first aid side of firefighting so he took the whole course because his fire dept. said he had to. He passed and said good for him.

Well enough for now and have a safe summer what is left of it.

Take care , drive safe and always wear your seat belts.

Good to hear from you Bob and glad you are on the mend. Been watching the mercury rise up there past several weeks and hope you guys get a break from the heat & muggy stuff. It's been a strange year here in east TX (at least that's what they say here) ... but Bill & I have seen more rain the past 8+ months than we have in a decade or 2 in Arizona. But it's desperately needed so we can't complain. Stay safe, stay healthy and rest up ..!
