Hello all:
Glad to hear we have some more new members and lets all take a second and say a prayer for all of those that need a prayer and also lets not forget a military members who are keeping us free and safe.
Ok now lets remember are driving skills after seeing some photos in Indiana highway its time to slow down in the black ice conditions and watch out for the other person who is driving like a nut and they don't care all they know is they need to get there quick if you know what I mean, nice job you just went through that intersection with out looking and you are not wearing your seat belt, nice job you made it ok this time but next time slow and look all ways like we tell are kids. Part of the NY state thruway was closed here last week going West as they say it was nothing but ice and the wind did not help, I guess there was only one lane open and the truckers were having problems getting through and cars are driving like nuts and then that guy from allstate (mayhem) was there helping it along. Remember before you go out on a extended trip in the winter pack a survivual bag, some snacks, water, extra change of cloths, blankets flash light extra batteries in case you get stuck, hey you never know. I have such a kit on my pick up truck just in case, I even have a pair of boots in case you need to hike somewhere.
Are we all wearing the seat belts in the city, state, govn't and personnal vehicles if not we should be, I can remember the sticker in the Govn't vehicles where I worked telling you that you must wear the belt while the vehicle is in motion, What was that dude thinking when here just blew the stop sign, glad you are paying attention, I hope you where and not texting. That's another whole subject that some day I may write about as there is a video I just saw from the UK on this subjct and it was not good. Well I have about 5 inches of snow in my back yard and its still coming down, I believe I am going to start send some to our warm states, Fl., Az., etc. Slow down I believe I hear a siren coming in the distance, lets hope they are paying attention.
OK enought of me babling on, need spell check on here. any how have a safe, and slow weekend and keep training and wearing your seat belts and watch out for the other guy.
Take care Bob Allard
