Greetings Members.

The following editorial is from FCSN Member John Brown, from Wilmington Massachusetts. His Relay for Life Team raised over $17.000 for the cause! Thanks John for your dedication to the fight against cancer and the FCSN!

Our team was called "The Bravest" and it actually was three teams combined. We were the top fund raisers for the RFL in Wilmington Massachusetts with a net of more than $17,000. At last count this event's total was well over $145,000. There was a segment dedicated to public safety personal and about 15 off duty members of the Wilmington Firefighters Local 1370 IAFF walked two miles in their turnout gear along with family and friends.

Two daughters of our firefighters were among the survivors who participated in our RFL.

The first picture is of our team in front of our base camp and the second was during our first lap. We were joined by the nine members on duty but as luck would have it, they left during the first lap to respond to a car crash.

Have a great day,
JB
