MFD is a combination Dept with about 18 full time firefighters, but only about 6 of them do these annual presentations now.
They posted the below snippet of their “Stay Low” song on Facebook recently, and it went insanely viral with over 14 million views and almost 221,000 shares in just 8 days!
Many FLSEs, parents and school educators left comments asking if MFD had videos or DVDs/CDs of their presentations and they shared a few youtube links.
Below is their 2015 Fire Prevention Week presentation for Mustang OK elementary schools:
And here is MFD’s 2016 Fire Prevention Presentation:
And here is their 2017 presentation:
According to MFD's facebook page …
“Songs will be available soon and we have no problem with other departments using the content. If we can all work together to save even one life, that is what it is all about! For more information contact MFD Captain Mike Carroll at firstname.lastname@example.org “
Please share this post with others ... and Mustang Fire Department ~ thank you for developing such creative, educational and fun presentations..!
Good morning Janet and all,
This is great news. I appreciated reading the term "a combination Dept".
I'm looking forward to getting the "Stay Low" song and then getting it to the right people here.

I work at a combo station Robert and it's wonderful! We are ALL professional firefighters as well as family.
This is a great article! I'm not sure why Bob is having such a hard time connecting to the on the site. Perhaps he can try on another computer and if it still happens, I will have to have his profile looked at.
Mustang Fire just wrapped up their presentation to area schools so embedded 2017 video above. Great job MFD!!!
