Well, its been awhile since my last blog and I hope everyone's driving has been doing better and not worst. Here (WNY) it still winter as it snows and then melts and then it rains and snow, so what it is I am trying to say is Winter is not letting go, there is a Warrant out for the Groundhog as he did say (suppose to have said in groundhog talk) six more weeks of snow well its been more than that. But we still have to drive like its winter and slow through the intersections like you just did not do, come on really, have you not seen or read The Fire Magazines reporting about Fire and Police accidents with roll over's. Here in the city(Buffalo) there was a fatal with a Police vehicle and a morning walker, that is all that has been in the paper, its still under investigation. Lights and sirens are a must sometimes and not others so it is going to be iffy in this case.
I should have started this blog with a moment of silence as a Firefighter (volunteer) Chief has passed away overnight, he was a County Fire Instructor and I have taught with him many times, I live in city of Tonawanda and he lives in the Town of Tonawanda neck to neck their district butts up against ours. He was a great man and firefighter has been Chief and Chief 1 several times and on his passing, he was Chief 1. So sorry to hear about his passing today and with that let's take a moment and say a prayer and will see you again.....................
RIP my friend
