Fire is unforgiving and can strike anyone at anytime. A million Americans are burned every year at home, school and in the workplace. “TRIAL BY FIRE: Lives Re-Forged” features a diverse group of people from all walks of life: a firefighter injured in the line of duty, a teenage athlete who defied all odds, a racecar driver who escaped a flaming wreck, an industrial worker caught in an explosion, a family united by tragedy and an honors student who refused to be defined by her scars.
