New York was hit extremely hard by the coronavirus outbreak in 2020 and, since Mast-Jägermeister US’ headquarters is based in NY, USFRA and MJUS teamed up to thank local first responders in and around their hometown of White Plains.
The health crisis, economic impacts and lockdowns were very challenging for everyone – especially volunteer fire departments that rely on public events and community fundraisers to help their bottom line.
The White Plains Fire Department is a city-funded agency and could not accept a donation so USFRA researched the coverage areas of each of the nearly 60 volunteer fire departments in Westchester County NY, then narrowed it down to 5 of the closest volunteer and combo fire departments in proximity to MJUS’ HQ office.
