We regret to pass on that Lexington (NC) Fire Captain Ronnie Metcalf, who received severe injuries while fighting a fire which destroyed a home on the morning of March 06, 2024, has died in the Line of Duty.
Captain Metcalf was transported to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital where he had been in stable condition with life threatening injuries, until his passing today. More to follow.
