Bio | As a Safety and Environmental Health Specialist II at Auburn University, I have been serving the community and protecting the Alabama environment for nearly 20 years. Prior to my time at Auburn I served as a soldier, medic, firefighter and in law enforcement. I am certified by ADEM, EPA, DOT, IATA, NREMT, and FAA to ensure compliance with various environmental regulations regarding water quality, erosion and sediment control, hazardous materials, storm water and other various environmental issues. I also perform water quality monitoring, emergency response, lab inspection, and universal waste management. I have a passion for natural resources and a love for the Gulf of Mexico and its beaches. I have been involved in several non-profit organizations and boards that advocate for water conservation, river protection, and sustainability. I enjoy working with diverse people, teaching and learning from others, and living in the Loveliest Village on the Plains. |
